Participation in "International School on Light Science and Technologies" (Santander, Spain)

The Master’s degree student of department “Instrumentation, metrology and certification” Igor Kozlov, working in the Laboratory of Biomedical Photonics of University clinic, took part in “International School of Light Science and Technologies” (June, 18-23, Santander, Spain).

 

According to the results of the annual competitive selection Igor Kozlov was given the right of free attendance of this event. He became the only representative from the Russian Federation among students.

 

As part of the School reports of famous scientists in the field of optics and photonics including Nobel laureate in Physics Shuji Nakamura were heard. Сontacts with leading researchers in these scientific directions were established. The gained experience and established connections will contribute to a better performance of research works carried out within the framework of one of the strategic scientific directions of the flagship university.
