R&D Center of Biomedical Photonics

Scientists of R&D Center of Biomedical Photonics of Orel State University (leading researcher, Ph. D. A.V. Dunaev and senior researcher, Ph. A.V. Mamoshin M.D.) took part in the International Symposium "Topical Problems of Biophotonics – 2019" (TPB-2019).

July 5, 2019 the open lecture on "Microvascular bed of human skin as an object of study. New opportunities" by the leading scientist in this field – Andrey Fedorovich was held.

A team of Orel State University and R&D Center of Biomedical Photonics participated in the international conference on photonics and biomedical optics European Conferences of Biomedical Optics (ECBO) (Munich, Germany).

Students actively engaged in research and educational work in Orel State University SPIE Student Chapter (based on Research and Development  Center of Biomedical Photonics) have won 2019 SPIE Optics and Photonics Education Scholarship.

Team of students and employees of Orel State University named after I. S. Turgenev, working in R&D Center of Biomedical Photonics participated in the VIII All-Russian Congress of Young Scientists, where they successfully presented the results of their research works. 

​Employees of the Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics Elena Zharkikh, Ksenia Kandurova and Evgeniya Seryogina took part in the Optics and Photonics International Congress 2019 (Yokohama, Japan), held from April 22 to April 26, 2019.

Employees of the Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics took part in the work of the international school on biophotonics “São Paulo School of Advanced Science on Modern Topics in Biophotonics”.

Master student of the 2nd course of "Biomedical photonics and electronics" programme, trainee-researcher of the Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics, currently undergoing internships under the scholarship program of the President of the Russian Federation at the University of Oulu, Zharkikh Elena also participated in the international mobility program in the 23rd EDUFI Winter School, organized from 4 to 9 March 2019 at the Lammi biological station of the University of Helsinki.

Trainee-reseracher of Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics Evgenia Seryogina and post-graduate student of the department of histology, cytology and embryology of Sechenov University, Researcher of the Center for Pre-Clinical Research of JSC Retinoids Gennadii Piavchenko presented a joint report “Morpho-functional approach for zinc succinate toxic effect evaluation in rats cerebral cortex”.

Employees of the research and development center participated and made presentations at the world's most prestigious international symposium in the field of photonics and optics SPIE «Photonics West 2019» (San Francisco, USA, 2-7 February 2019) at the conference «BiOS».
